Heres me in the grand place grotesque markt. You must be wondering why I haven’t posted a video Brussels. Why? Because there ain’t shit here, other than it being the Capitol of Belgium. And Brussels know they’re an ugly city and proud of it. It’s kind of those cities where you have to grow to love.

Oh, and I thought my hostel in Brugge was bad, but I was wrong. Brussels is the crappiest hostel. Many things are wrong here: bathroom & showers are downstairs nowhere near the rooms, wifi isn’t currently working (idk why they don’t call to fix it), key sometimes works/sometimes doesn’t, beds are ugly with no ladders (so it would suck for the person who’s sleeping on the top bunk), no bed sheets (although I brought my own), laundry is roken, toaster wasn’t working, and the workers are rude. Right now I’m stealing free wifi from Mcdonalds, which was a 20 minute walk. It came to the point where I was seriously thinking of leaving Brussels early to go to Paris, but I had already paid for my reservations on the train. One more night to suck it up! So here’s what i learned in Brussels.

1. Never go to Brussels again.

2. Never go down Korte Beenhouwerstr/Beenhouwersstraat - Rue Des Bouchers (its a street in Brussels) because there are plenty of servers who try to seduce you to come into their restaurant to eat. This street is know for this, so it’s nothing out of the ordinary. I’ve been stopped by 3 servers in less than 3 minutes walking down this street.

3. The “Mannekin Pis” is small in real life.

4. People in Brussels speak mostly French. I thought they spoke mostly Flemish because that’s what they spoke in Brugge.

5. Never stay at the Centre Van Gogh Hostel again. But then again, I’ll never go to Brussels again…so it works out.

6. The fashion in Brussels is pretty good! Theres so many clothing stores is fashionable clothing which was a plus for me.

7. Belgians drunk Trappist beer for late night evening talks, Pils beer at a party or when they don’t feel inspired and white beer and oriel for a sunny terrace.
